Hello gentlemen I have been chasing down a problem my 686 sticks on opening on two of the six cylinders, it will open on the 2 in question but I'am having trouble resolving this issue. I have checked the ejector rod its straight, the yoke seems ok there is no end shake,.006 clearance between barrel and cylinder .005 between installed cartridge and recoil plate, with cylinder open will spin smoothly ,center pin is ok and is plum when pushed in at the other end ,I was wondering what the blueprint called for,for the cylinder with extractor star faces combined length it seem to me like thats a likely spot I stoned the sharp edges but didn't know if this is a part that has to be fitted if replaced (extractor shows signs that it was ground to let cartridges sit flush in the cylinder) any help would be welcomed .
