I have a 686 with a red ramp front sight. Will S&W do the required work to make it a pinned, or even better the quick change system that some revolvers have? Or will i have to locate a gunsmith to do the work. Thanks
IMO S&W should implement the interchangeable front sight across the board on the target sighted revolvers.
If the gun has a red ramp blade it already is a pinned sight. Unless, of course, the insert was done after-market. That is why the barrel is atainless steel and the blade is blued!
