686 question?

At the gunshop today I found a 686 that appeared to be a lightweight or Airweight model. It had a 1.5 or 2" barrel and I think it was marked 686sc/c or something similar. I can't find it on the SW website. Can anyone give me information on it? It was a 7 shot model.

Never heard of a 686 airwgt,always thought the six prefix meant stainless,that's heavy.Better chk that model# again.

What you looking for is the 386PD Airlite Sc.
.357 Mag with a 2 1/2" barrel.

OK, sounds like it was the 386, not a 686. I had always thought that the 686 was only stainless as well. I guess I read the number wrong. I appreciate the help!

Any comments on the 386?
