686 v comp?

I have searched the interweb, but have yet to come up with results. Did S&W manufacture this model? I have co-worker that says that he has one he would sell. If they did, what is the era of mfg and the value related to such pistol? Thank you for the help.

He's likely referring to a 586 L-comp or 627 V-comp. I don't know of a 686 V comp being produced. Oh maybe the 686 competitor?

Described exactly as the 627 v comp, but states that it is a 686. I am to receive photos later today. I have not found any information on this configuration.

Pistol is a 627 vcomp, it is not a 686 vcomp
