There is a LEO trade in with 2 mags no box for sale at Silverado in Mentor OH if anyone local is interested. I have no dog in the fight just thought I would pass along an opportunity. It looked OK from where I stood but I didn't pick it up and look it over.

Where is this in reference to Gander and Point blank?

Did you happen to snag the 457 a few months ago?
NO I have never bought anything from them.

West 1 exit on Route 2 then south about 1 mile on Center st. BTW Gander M. went out of business.

how much do they want they are high on most guns that I have looked at there?
The price on the tag was $369. I thought it was reasonable since their prices are usually high.

I've been using the "new" Good Samaritan Gander for my transfers as they were half the price of all the LGS around me. They came back with blue as the background color vs the green that they were before. They are Gander Outdoors - Mentor, Warren, and Huber Heights, OH.

She went home at $329 with 2 "High Capacity LEO *cough* 12 round mags". Ok maybe point blank then home. I did a quick scan of the place and yeah the prices are GB on a active bid war day. I've already have new grip for whatever 6904/6906 I landed eventually as well as some springs. I still need to order a recoil spring and I may or may not have it refinished. These are dead Metroplex sights?

$329 seems more than fair with two mags. I like the 6906 except for the off-side decock. I really like the 469 with the 3rd Gen grips. I wish I had the courage to try to fit them to mine.

I cut the grips where the tabs stick out vs my original idea of shortening the tabs. Also had to try and do under the beavertail. That's how I have a spare for this 6906 as I was going to make a 3rd attempt to clean that gap on the bottom up but let it go.

Merc6..

I didn't realize Gander was rebranded and open. I have been overseas for last 2.5 years. Is it the same parent company or a different organization?

What do they charge for transfers? The one on Mentor Ave I use, (Finest Firearms) charges $25... less if you transfer more than 1.

So did you buy it for $329 at Silverado? If so good deal and good to know they will negotiate.

I talked to one of the owners of Silverado or at least he said that he has been there since the store opened. I asked if they ever got any used SW wheels guns? His response was a little disappointing. He said that he never lets them make it to the case. they are all in his personal safe. (At least that was his story) I have been in there about 8 or 9 times since they opened 4-5 years ago and have never seen a used SW wheel gun. It used to be B&T Firearms years ago.
Anyway, if you bought it I am glad I could help.

I believe entirely new since they won't honor anything from the previous sales like discounted service on gun service on Gander "Mountain" guns. They been doing $35 where others want $50-$60. They also will ship guns you get from them back vs paying the $90 next day. I ended up doing that on my Taurus 605 that lost timing.

Mayfield gun has a ton of wheel guns and super old LNIB Smiths on display.

Yes thanks on helping me find an old CPD gun. The tag was marked down as I guess most folks aren't going for "Heavy Square Trigger Smith Autos" with real word Police abuse unless some random guy from the internet gets in the car and go buy it. LOL! there is more modern stuff out there like a Police trade in Glock 19 for even less on GB buy now.

They look like Trijicon sights that can be re-lamped for $57.
Thanks!

His prices went up since folks keep trying to see how structurally sound the windows are.
