Greetings all and Merry Christmas!

I decided to do a detailed strip of my 6906 because the magazine catch just had a really mushy feel to it and when I pulled it apart, the spring was in very poor shape. Before I pick up a new spring, I wanted to make sure that I get in anything else I need to save on shipping. Is there anything anyone can suggest?

In addition, I wanted to see the hive's thoughts on my barrel. In comparing it to my other pistols, the rifling seems a bit weak, though the gun groups fine (I'm a pretty poor shot, though). I've searched high and low for a new replacement barrel, but just can't seem to find any. If the barrel seems fine, I'll just have my fears put to rest though. :)

Please forgive the dirt. I put it through a Hoppe's bath and an ultrasonic cleaner, so I think that's the cleanest I can get it.

Just received my new-to-me 6906 a couple of days ago. My barrel/rifling looks close to yours. My gun was part of a police dept. trade in. Overall gun condition is flat out excellent. No abuse whatsover.

Here's a link to gunpartscorp:
6906. Accessories | Numrich Gun Parts

They've got new and used barrels in stock: $145 vs $62.

I think my barrel is fine. Haven't been out shooting yet.

Wolff Springs has a Pistol Service Pack and Mag Springs. Just in case I have extra firing pin , trigger pin and other small hardware from Brownells. Magazines and parts can also be found at Numrich and Midway USA.
