A 1/16" allen key is a perfect fit.

Note that .060" is the nominal size for a 1/16" allen key, rather than the full .0625".

It's a right hand threaded screw so "righty tighty, left loosey" works just fine.

Once you loosen the screw however, you will still need to drift the sight out of the dove tail as it is a press fit. You can do it with judicious use of a brass drift punch and small hammer, but a sight tool is a better option.

If you're replacing it with a tritium sight, a sight tool is necessary to avoid potentially cracking the vials that hold the tritium.

Also, when it comes to firearms, every thing get drifted out from left to right, and drifted in from right to left.

For American firearms that is. With most of the European designs, Beretta, XD, It is opposite. Colt is the one exception to the rule of American designs that I am aware of.
