Does anyone know the difference between the 6906 with the silver trigger/hammer and the black trigger/hammer? I have a black (Ha! If it was mine I wouldn't be shopping.. it's my wife's) and I've seen a few with the black and several with the silver.

I'm looking at the round trigger guard style, not the squarish.. and by the way.. what is the significance between those, too.

When I say difference, I know it's just color/style.. but does it have something to do with production? Significance maybe?

Thanks so much!

The "silver" hammer and trigger are "flash chromed" and found on earlier models, as is the squared trigger guard.

The "black" hammer and triggers are Metal
Injected Molded (MIM) and found on later models, as is the rounded trigger guard.

Hope this helps.

That does help. I bought a silver today, I'll be able to compare the two to see if I need to keep looking for a twin to my wife's.
Thanks!
