Back when you could not get boxer primed brass except from norma I bought 15 boxes of boxer primed hansen 7.62x54r from a dealer at a local gun show. Since I just shoot cast bullets out of a model 27 Finnish moisin nagant and have had the bullets pulled and powder & primers removed, they have given good service in that rifle. I have found that if the cases have the green primer sealant on the primer as yours that they are boxer primed. The red sealant usually means berdan primed. So far as I'm concerned these are good cases and should give you good service as long as you stick to factory velocities and pressures. If you hotrod then all bets are off. I have some in 6.5x55 and 7mm also. Hope this helps. Frank

That Hansen stuff is all Prvi Partizan. Excellent quality stuff. I recently bought 100rds of P-P 7x57 ammo , specifically because the brass is so good.
+1 on the Prvi Partizan; clean, consistent ammo - good brass. Made in the former Yugoslavia. The headstamp, which looks like the English lower-case nny are actually Cyrillic figures that I can't reproduce on this Roman keyboard. The names of the letters are pronounced "pay pay yoo" and stand, logically enough, for Prvi Partizan Yugoslavija.

I've not used the PPU 7x57 cases, but have loaded them for 7.62x54R, .223 and 7.7 Jap (Made by PPU, Grafs headstamp) with excellent results . They do make good brass and ammunition.
One point to consider: 7x57 brass from different manufacturers can vary greatly in thickness and as such, internal case capacity. For instance my R-P cases hold approx 2 grains less than Winchester cases.
Speer has always published full power (50K pressure level) data for the 7x57 for use in modern rifles. Earlier versions used Winchester cases. The latest has shifted to using Remington cases and their powder charges have been correspondingly adjusted downward.
I would certainly not have any problems using that brass, but I recommend that you verify the case capacity before starting and work up your loads accordingly.

I have found it to be excellent brass. And one point to note.. The 7x57 PPU brass that I have obtained has virtually identical internal powder capacity as Winchester brass

I have a good bit of Hansen 303 and some 6.5x55 brass. I concur with the other posters that it is very good brass. The 303, while not pushed to the max, has held up well for a cartridge that is hard on brass considering the springy action of the No.1 Mk 111 SMLE.
