Finally finished my SBR. Took 7 Months to clear ATF. Another month to get the barrel cut and threaded due to some setbacks with the machinist. But totally worth it in the end. Now for another 8-9 month wait on a supressor.Rifle has a Vortex Sparc with BC flip open cover and kill flash. Magpul CTR with cutback Cheek riser, Gear Sector handstop and vert grip, Troy rail covers cut down in between grips, Magpul handgrip, Magpul flip ups. Freefloat adapter from Tacticool, aluminum handguard (Forget the brand) Made by me fill in piece at the end of the handguard. I also installed a milled down Magpul sling mount between the rail and the upper, kind of like a locking piece. Then all metal pieces were Cerakoted with graphite black. Lastly, milled down the hammer to a speed hammer setup, polished trigger parts and installed JP springs.

Wiping drool from my chin.....

I've been debating buying another one specifically to do this!

Can you post a pic of someone holding/shooting it?

I have 2 stamps pending. SBR and SWR Spectre II can.

Cant wait.

Very Nice Foxone. I'm waiting on my stamps too. Could we get a 90 degree side picture?

Geez, just noticed I didnt do the pic, been crazy, Ill work on that.

Welcome to the wonderful world of NFA items. My local sheriff says ive been finger printed more times than anyone he knows to have never been arrested. Lol.. but congrats on the new toy and sickness

I sent in SBR paperwork Jan. 11. My $200 tax stamp check cleared my bank Jan. 23. Expecting my paperwork any time. You commented 7 month's wait period. When did you submit your paperwork?

ya my last 2 were like that, 1 took just over 7 months and the other took just over 8 months.. the first was a integral mk3 pistol with the serial number of my sons birthday and the other was a integral 44mag for myself with my b-day as the serial number.

Sounds like I have another month to go. Have you ever called the BATFE rep processing your application? Apparently they are regional (several state area) for example: Indiana & Michigan. They are processing multiple times the number of applications compared to 2 years ago.

You cant build a machine gun after 1986.

Slide-fire stock is as close as you can get.

You can get Full Auto though. The tax stamp process is just another NFA stamp.

It's the $5000+ for a full auto, registered, transferable sear that is the issue, generally :p

KBK

(PS I do not know if a FA sear will fit in a 15/22)

The sear wont work on a 15-22. An ar15 lightning link or dias relies on the bolt carrier to trip it and the 15-22 doesnt have an ar-15 style carrier. But transferable ARs run at 10,000 and up so thats my biggest turn off. Dias and lightning links that are transferable are 5,000 and up. So that stoll pricey. Ill just stick with my suppressed stuff for now.

Theres just something about a 44 mag that sounds like a paintball gun
