9.0mm EZ Shield

Enjoy your new Glock? I hope that's politically correct.
I remember threatening to sell my Glocks because of this.

LVSteve: What's a R-51? Remington. Let me think about that. Rifles, shotguns, 1911 pistols, sewing machines and typewriters. Didn't know they made anything else!

kbm6893: Sorry about the typo! Its a 422 pistol (picture below). At my age I need the picture instructions for the 9mm EZ like I needed them for the Ruger 22 many years ago. It's a personal thing!
I DO appreciate all comments. Being house bound for the most part during
the Co-vid 19 crisis (medical reasons), this forum brings me the only (FUN) outside two way conversation I enjoy partaking in!

marmelmi: I really hope you get the EZ apart and reassembled!
As I said above. It's a great pistol !! Best of luck !!

Be SAFE and Shoot often!

This firearm is a piece of garbage!!! in trying to reassemble firearm the slide is jammed and no way to free it. S&W should be ashamed of themselves for releasing such a piece of **** to the public. No instructions on how to fix this problem that they know exists!!! If this firearm is that bad just trying to reassemble it I am afraid to fire it, I will lose a hand. I am going to return it for a full refund and buy a GLOCK!!!

TROLL ... don't even dignify his remarks with a response.

He'll be back.. With a Glock 42 .380 I'd guess..
It'll pocket carry better than any Shield anyhow..
He is BTW 58 Years old & born in the 60s = 3-4 ears older than Me = Grown Man..
Now to get the local gun store to see about a refund on the 9mm EZ..
I paid $289 for our 380 EZ & $200 for the 9mm Shield 2.0..
Good Luck finding any Glock for under $300 out there currently..
My Glock 26 needs replacing by a single stack that carries better.
Either the Shield 9mm 2.0 or a Glock 43 9mm..
Possibly even the SIG Sauer P365..
I might be needing a 9mm EZ for my brother who had a stroke..

Your replies brought back memories of the first time - wait - the second time too - oh who am I kidding, EVERY time I try to take apart my Ruger 22. It's older than the Mark1 so maybe it's just a Mark? Pre-Mark? Ruger Standard?

Anyway, there can't be a pistol more difficult than that, and it was my first ever semi-auto I bought back in the early 80's. Holy smokes I puzzled over that thing and finally found instructions somewhere and got it apart and back together. It's almost like the engineers came from those bent-wire-bar-puzzle makers and got a job at Ruger.

These days I don't shoot it much, and if I do I certainly don't clean it! I'm sure I couldn't figure it out, even knowing there's a lever in the handle that has to be moved during the process.

A .22 doesn't need cleaning anyway right?
