9mm Barrel in .40 Shield

I bought a 9 mm threaded barrel for my FS. I have been shooting this in my FS 40. Would this work in my Shield 40?

Just bought my first m&p 9c an am so excited. I really want a shield 40 next so I can buy the 9mm barrel. I can't believe how hard it is to find a shield right now. I appreciate the posting about the 40-9mm swap trick. Based on what I read here I'm going for it. 2 guns one price!!!

Almost impossible to find a Shield 9mm barrel in order to convert the .40
Saw one had recently sold on fleaBay for $288.00 (used)

Does anyone know where we can get the 9mm barrel? I don't think S&W will be selling them with the big demand for the Shield. Thanks

Midway has these barrels in 9mm and 357sig, they are factory made, $74 for 9mm and $87 for 357sig, both of these fit in the 40 shield.

I'm interested in this, please post a direct link to the barrels you are saying will fit the 40 Shield, I can't find it.

Nope, neither fit the Shield. Sorry
