"A Bridge Too Far", full movie

Ringo-

I'm pretty sure the DVD is still available. Check Amazon, etc.

I did see the film in the theater. I was married then and my wife just tolerated it. I think she liked Connery. Most women did.

We went to, "Jaws" in 1975 and she insisted on leaving halfway through the movie,. I did't get to see it until after my divorce.

I know it is. I have the first release on DvD-back when it took two disks to have the full movie on-and I also have a better burned copy. Now, Jaws-I did see in theater-at the Texas theaters. Scared the heebie-jeebies outta me. I was about 8 at the time.

A good movie, in reality a very risky plan badly executed, but closer to success than it might have been. Let's take our tea.

Rick-

I will indeed take my tea. My son sent me a box of Assam estate - specific tea from Taylor's of Harrogate. (Harrogate is 14 miles from York.) I'm sure it's better than the Army - issued tea they had at Arnhem. I've read that some of their tea was mixed with powdered milk. I only occasionally add milk to tea, and they were rationed in the UK then, with really good tea being a luxury for many. Even most civilians suffered in that war.

Of course, Churchill managed to have his brandy (Cognac) and cigars.
