How many will watch at least 5 minutes of it?

"In the heat of battle, my father wove a tapestry of obscenities that, as far as we know, is still hanging in space over Lake Michigan."

For me, it encapsulates how I imagine Christmas is supposed to be.

Just finished watching it. Tomorrow I may catch a few minutes here and there between games.

Merry Christmas, everyone!

I love it.......wife hates it. So I watch it without her. The story is set many years before I was born but I can still relate to some of the scenes.

We all (kids and grandkids) watch it's a "Wonderful Life" on Christmas Eve.

I might catch it after Die Hard. One of my favorite Christmas movies. Although on line there is a battle of whether it's an action movie that happens to be at Christmas or a Christmas movie in its own right. Either way, it's a fun watch.

I'm sorry to say I've never watched "Die Hard". I'll have to seen if it's airing or streaming.

I have a fondness for the "Christmas Story" film as it was filmed in my neighborhood. I knew the original owner of the house it was filmed at on W.11th at Rowley avenue. My grandfather owned a few houses on that street. I grew up with many of the neighbors. A friend has home movies from the filming. The film has a very large following in Cleveland. I watch it several times each season. Kinda odd watching a major movie that was filmed where I used to hang around. Even though the house is a tourist attraction, the neighborhood overall is mostly like it was when they filmed it. Perhaps a little better maintained, that's all.
