A Deputy Died In Front Of My House Today

Rest in Peace Sir.I agree with everything the gents above have said...

Bruce thank you for what you did. We've lost to many dedicated young men and women this year, and I'm sad beyond words.

Prayers to this young man, his friends, family, and everyone who gave their lives to protect the rest of us.

One of the most dangerous things we do is drive. You can lose control in a matter of milliseconds.

Prayers for you, the officer, his family, and the officers that had to respond to that tragedy.

Thank you all for your kind responses. I guess because it happened right here at the house I still just feel empty in some way. I did not know him. Also it is nasty and raining weather so that compounds it.

Again thank you all and continue to pray for the family.

It's a wake up call to enjoy everyday were on this side of the green. Our lives can change at any moment.

I will pray for the officer and his family.

We just had a Bexar County deputy sheriff killed on I-35 just north of San Antonio at 2 AM today. Off duty, riding his motorcycle, crashed into a truck (I think) which had some sort of collision just ahead of him. Nothing good happens on a street or highway at 2 AM, especially to those on a motorcycle.
