was at Wally world today and they had some .45cal Remington 50rd boxes in. So I bought two boxes. (all they had left)

The kicker is this is the first time I am buying the ammo before I buy my gun.

Gonna buy a ParaUSA GI Expert .45 this weekend. Will be my first 1911 style pistol

So now I will be hunting for four different calibers (Sp?) 9mm, .40, .45, and .223/5.56

Now I just think of it as a treasure hunt.

lol a treasure hunt is right. last week i scored 2 boxes of 9mm at wallyworld. lots of places here will only sell you ammo if you buy a gun, which is fair i guess. unfortunately i have many calibers to feed...9mm, .380, .45 acp, 7.62 soviet, 5.56/.223, .22LR, .38 Special. pretty much only the AK gets any range time these days...

FennRx- I know what you mean. I have been stopping by this wally world about every other day to check in for ammo for a couple months now.
Have a guy that works behind the counter that is decent and I see him just about each day I go in there. He has helped me a couple times, knowing that I stop in, and has held a box or two of the calibers I am looking for. He has been a great help.

that would be great. the old guy who is always working at my wally world is nice, but he never seems to remember me...or even take me seriously for that matter. but then again, that happens in every gun store i walk into. i mustn't have the look of a gun nut.
