Sorry for your loss. I've always had cats and I hate losing them when the time comes. I've got 6 cats, two 11, two 9, and two just over 1, all rescues. I know starting in a few years when they start crossing over it will be rough to lose the 4 seniors in a relatively short period of time. I never had any kids so these are mine.

At least I'll still have the young'uns.
