A Life Well Lived

I am sorry for your loss redlevel. Your mother entered the world at the end of horse and buggy days, beginning of the automobile and airplane. She lived through the Great Depression, two world wars, two other conflicts, space travel and the moon landings, not to mention Y2K. She saw a lot of change in her lifetime. May she rest in peace.

And may you and your family find peace with her passing.

An amazing, admirable woman; and as you said, a life well lived.

My condolences for your loss, but I feel joy for the memories of her splendid life that are yours forever.

I wish I could have met her and listened to her wonderful stories.

Very sorry for your loss, but happy that you had her for so long. I lost my mother when I was 2 years old and have absolutely no memories of her. I would like to think that she would have been much like yours. I would say "God Bless",but he already has.

f.t.

Not a day goes by that I don't ask myself what my mother would do in a given situation. Her counsel abides though she's been gone almost 20 years. When the pain goes, and it will, her counsel and love will live on with you forever. God bless.

Sorry for your loss, red. But like you said she certainly had a well lived life!

I've been following your posts about Momma for years. This Thanksgiving I think I'll go ahead and make that recipe in your yearly post!

I am sorry for your loss, but as you said she had "A life well lived".

I remember your "Cornbread Dressing" post from years ago and you helping her make it. I have used those directions many times with great results! She looked like a very sweet lady.

My mom just passed at age 99.

She believed that Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior would come down from Heaven and help her make the transition. I am sure he did.

Wonder about my own death, will I be able to accept it?

My sister the Nurse, told me Christians die better, sometimes a beautiful thing.
