Now that Taurus has their Circut Judge "Revolving" rifle out, I think S&W is missing a fairly broad market if they do not bring out A Revolving Rifle of their own.

My want would be for a 44 Mag, 16.5 to 18" barrel, what ever balanced best.

Of course the 460 and 500 S&W would be good choices as well.

They could even offer a relacement "cylinder", that does not rotate, and only holds ONE bullet so the rifle could be used in those states that are now allowing pistol calibre single shot rifles to be used for deer hunting.

So they would have two markets covered.

i just think that we should be allowed to put stocks on revolvers if we want to. that is one of the most ridiculous laws that i have ever heard of. sure, once upon a time a sbr might have been a serious threat to someone of great political importance or something, but c'mon. i doubt that a hitman is gonna pick a revolver with a stock to try and assassinate somebody. and that is the only reason i can think of for the law. besides, it's not like a criminal is gonna stop and say hmmm i shouldn't make this an illegal weapon before i go and shoot somebody. they are just raining on the hunters and sport shooters parade imho.

There's a lot of UK shooters would love one of these. It needs a 12" barrel plus 24" overall to comply with our laws. Taurus and Buckmark are our only suppliers at present.
In the words of a Danish friend of mine: "Ah, your politicians are equally as stupid as ours".

I am suprised this did not get more response, so I am sending it back to the top.

Just think, your rifle and handgun, take the same ammo, the same speed loaders, and operate the same.

And with the barrel twist S&W uses instead of most 44 Mag rifles [most use 1 in 38] you would be able so shoot tight groups to 100 yards for sure.

I imagine a revolving rifle would be fun, until the first time you held your supporting hand even with or forward of the cylinder and fired...
