Lots of rumors and plenty of deal available on the current model. Maybe coming next month?

This is one situation where I might be tempted. My BG380 works just fine, with probably only 1,500 rounds through it. I would get the 2.0 without any laser. It's just not practical for me.

I have a feeling it's coming soon.

I am fairly certain that all of the M&P pistols will receive 2.0 treatment. I would love to see what they could do to match the LCP 2.

I'm surprised S&W has kept this under wraps as well as they have. But, maybe there's nothing to keep under wraps! I don't think they're able to economically produce a small DAO with any kind of reasonable trigger weight (at the same price point as the BG380) - so I'm hoping it'll be a mini-Shield!!

Definitely curious what changes will be in store for the 2.0 Bodyguard. However, I've absolutely no wish to get rid of my Bodyguard 1.0. Being Galloway Precision equipped in nearly every regard, it's a sweet little pistol with a great trigger now. I'll never get the money back I put into it, so it's definitely a keeper.
If the 2.0 has good features/improvements, I'll pick one up as well!

Just got mine for $219 before rebate. I have been looking into the trigger system out there (galloway) not sure what to do. Gotta say I do like the Shield and Compact 2. Great triggers amongst other things.

What's Galloway? I trigger system for Bodyguard? What does it do for the trigger?

AS mentioned by another member, it is a trigger system that is installed into the BG380. However, if you see what happens when Hickok45 shoots the BG he has that is equipped with the system, he has too many light strikes resulting in no ignition, until of course you re-strike. Kinda worrisome to me.

That doesn't set the bar very high. If they're going to the expense of a redesign, I'd rather see the 2.0 match the Sig P238.

I don't want it to match the LCPII either the old BG is a better product.THE 2.0 can't match the P238 two DIFFERENT types of guns:cool:

Went to range yesterday and fired 70 rounds of flawless FMJ and JHP ammo. Great little gun! I've also tried the LCP II 380 and this gun is much better as it regards recoil and the trigger on the LCP would always pinch me, ouch!
