A New Direction In My Life

I am retired and have time on my hands, especially at home around the house. I going to continue to dabble in photography and go to the indoor range and poke holes in paper. However after some research and pondering I have determined an new direction for my life. I have received permission from wife, assembled the equipment and an going to become a practicing Lapidary. Sounds a bit like me and my resto-modding of guitars hobby that I have started. Keeps me busy and pretty happy. Also good to keep the brain working so it does not head downhill from lack of use. Good on ya for finding something to try. Good luck with it as well.

Several years ago I got into tumbling rocks (polishing). It was fun but required patience and funds I did not have. Equipment can be expensive too. Best of luck! The results can be spectacular!
