It was certainly left leaning (what do you expect) with a fair amount of propaganda. They did admit that < 0.5% of all homicides in the US are performed with semi-auto weapons. They did NOT specify how many of those were with AR style platforms. They did show (briefly) another, more powerful semi-auto that had a more traditional look and feel (that would not have been "banned").
I do feel that they harped on the .223 round as inflicting too much damage. And they certainly portrayed many AR owners as "preppers", some of which had hostility towards the government.
Biggest problem (IMHO) is that they started on the right (here's a dentist that owns and shoots responsibly; most "banned" items are form, not function) and ended up on the left (here's some youtube videos of AR owners advocating hostile acts if the government attempts to further limit 2nd amendment rights) along with quotes from docters and patients directly affected by the Aurora, CO incident.
If you consider the "left" or "media" to have opposing views, wouldn't it be rationale to understand their views? Let it "piss you off". The left arguments from the show are easily countered/deflected, IMHO.
