So on another forum, I posted a thread asking people about gun XYZ. Is it any good, what issues they had, what they like, etc. The I state I'd like replies from only people who have actually owned and shot the gun.
The very first reply was from someone who said "Gun XYZ is ****! Gun ABC is much better." When I ask him how long he owned gun XYZ, he said he never owned one, shot one, picked up one, or even saw one.
I had three options:
1) Say nothing
2) Ask him why he replied since he had no personal knowledge of gun XYZ.
3) Thank him for his reply and leave it at that.
I went for #3 and left it at that. I really wanted to yell at him but thought it was a waste of my time.
Why do people do this? Give feedback on something they know nothing about.
Thanks for letting me rant. I feel better now.
