old school

The last time I was asked "Why Do You Carry A Gun"? I replied, "For Protection Against Jealous Husbands And Boyfriends". Then I walked away without saying anyting else.

Good one.

I ask them if they have a spare tire in their vehicle, or a fire extinguisher at home.

Hanging lights on weapons is for house-to-house combat for operators, not homeowners....

House-to-house fighting is what homeowners should expect. They're fighting in THEIR HOUSE!

I didn't say fighting. I said combat and house-to-house combat is NOT THE SAME AS HOME DEFENSE!!!

Sorry - lights attached to your home defense weapons are a mistake. YMMV, as always, but you'd be wrong.

I was with dad one time when a person asked him why he was carrying a gun. He said when he saw someone he wanted to shoot he wanted to have his gun with him. The other guy walked off. Larry

I recently picked up a M&P Shield 2.0 with a built in laser. I figured the laser would be good on a house gun and maybe I'd carry it Instead of the 380 Colt Pony.

I actually shoot it better using the sights as opposed to the laser

LOL.... I guess all those years of training as a cop to do building search in pitch black darkness with WMLs was a waste of time.

So, the 250,000 Floridians who lost power should just blink harder in the dark, right?

Florida power outage map: Over 240,000 without power as Hurricane Debby makes landfall

The storm made landfall as a Category 1 hurricane on Monday at 7 a.m. near the coastal town of Steinhatchee, according to the National Hurricane Center. At the time of landfall, more than 200,000 outages were reported.
