A request for my better half

Prayers for your wife and your family. Hope all turns out well.

My MIL had a double Mastectomy 15 years ago - doing fine now and full of fun. Back then that was the only option, today there are many more.

Doc,
My wife and I have been through this over the past year and a half. She needed a mastectomy as well as lymphectomy. Thank God it had not spread further. Surgery, chemo, radiation, hormone therapy, and constant checkups, but she is pretty much back to her normal routines. It gets better, just take it as it comes and deal with what need to. Nothing matters but getting your honey better, and trust me, it will work. My prayers are with you and your wife.

David,

As long as you are part of this forum, posting or not, you have an extended family. We will stand with you and your wife, even from far distances.

Almighty God,

We lift this family up to You. We humbly request You grant Your healing power and surround them with Your love, peace and comfort. We further ask that You guide the hands and strengthen those that will care for our sister in arms.

We ask these things in the name of our Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Amen.

I have a sister who has been through this years ago and no problems since. Think positive and never give up hope.

Prayers sent for Sandi, and for you, David.

And thank you also for letting us know about the possibility of missing this in routine checks.

I'll be keeping your family in my prayers. I just went through this with one of my sisters in 2010, and praise God she's fine today. I'll be praying that your wife has the same outcome.

Best wishes and heartfelt prayers for you and your family from the Heart of Texas. Also, I extend free membership for you into the "Dave" club.

Regards,

Dave

I also offer up my prayers for you and your family.

I know what you must be going through. I lost my first wife to Melanoma cancer in 1998, and my current wife was just diagnosed with breast cancer in November 2010. Sometimes life does not make sense, or seem fair. I can assure you the battle will draw the two of you and your family even closer.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery and good test results.

I'm not a praying man, but my thoughts are with you. My mother was diagnosed with breast cancer in in the middle of last year. She was very good about staying on top of things, my family has a history of cancer, and they caught it quickly. She choose the surgery route and had her last surgery ages weeks ago. The docs say she is in the clear, no chemo, but constant vigilance is still in order.

James said "The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much."
I believe that.
Hang in there and stay supportive.
God be with you all.
