I hired a proofreader a couple of years ago. He worked three days and quit showing up. Won't answer emails or phone calls. Left the computer by the front door one night with two .45 holes in it. I guess the job was too taxing.Tolerance is good. Hiring a proofreader for a forum? Not so much.

Typos, diction, grammar errors are gonna happen no matter what and after 30+ years in publishing I can affirm that proofreading your own stuff puts one in the position of missing the same errors while reading as were made when typing. Tolerance is good. Hiring a proofreader for a forum? Not so much.
