Medium. Med rare is fine too. If I'm not sure they will cook it exactly medium I'll say med. rare. A little rare is OK, but a little too well done =ruined.

No blood MAYBE a touch of pink. Im civilized-not like the rest of you Cavemen :D

The scale of your poll is incorrect.

Rare = Cool red center
Medium Rare = Warm red center
Medium = Hot pink center
Medium Well = No pink in center
Well = Why did I order an expensive steak when a hamburger cooked like this would be as good.

I like Medium Rare.

Medium rare here....fix your poll questions!

But really, we just make a little "adjustment" now and then so we can have a nice bone in rib-eye. That is pretty high up on the list of priorities...along with bacon and ammo. ;)

We always seem to find the money for the things we find important, don't we? :p

I was kidding...we don't eat much steak now, but it's because we're trying to eat healthy (a synonym for "nothing good.") We get tired of chicken and fish, though, so on occasion I will cook a small rib eye on the grill, and we split it. I can remember when I'd cook two large rib eyes on the grill, and I'd eat one and a half, and my wife would eat half (her choice.) We eat lots of salad and green vegetables...of course, my favorite vegetable is potatoes, but can't have much of that, so we eat lots of broccoli, boiled okra, and other cra...er, stuff that I don't care for.

Why didn't God make lettuce taste like chicken fried steak? I'm beginning to wonder why I want to be healthy, if it means living another 30 years eating cardboard and slime.

It must be nice to be able to afford steak... :o

We prefer our Oscar Meyer beef bologna medium...since it's already pink all over, we mainly go for hot.

Oscar Meyer BEEF bologna no less, not the cheap store brand huh? Eatin kinda high on the hog yourself there buddy!

Vegetarian is an Indian term for bad shot.

It was Edmund O'Brien not Pat O'Brien who was Dutton Peabody, the editor of the Shinbone Express in The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance.

"That's my steak Liberty!"

Bloody with a sear - "medium" is well done.

Darn shame to pay for a good steak and burn it up…..I figure you're losing $1.00/ minute of flavor if you have a good ribeye - maybe less.

Steak people know.

I like mine Medium. More on the warm pink side than the cold pink side, though.
