I was going to say something like that too. He probably thought you were an ex agent of some kind. I've got to try that in Wal-Mart. I wear 5-11 tactical pants and a Hawaiian shirt covering my carry and a digital camo boonie hat with some military pins on it. I'm sure I can get away with doing something like that. Maybe I can get some attention (probably from the cops) by walking around with a box of ammo (If I can find any).

Since we are listing Franklin's credits I think it only fair to mention what I consider his biggest pain in the rear creation, Daylight Savings Time, at least I have always heard it attributed to him. I absolutely loved the years I lived in AZ for many reasons, not the least of which is they don't mess with that stupid moving the clock around business.

It's a fun apocryphal yarn; I actually posted it about a year ago and the mods pulled it pretty quickly - apparently there were too many references that might have been interpreted as racist and/or insensitive. I thought I'd resurrect it in a somewhat modified and more PC form so no one could possibly be offended. Didn't realize it had been re-used in the original form by someone else and NOT pulled by the mods!
Anyway - all in fun.

I don't know why they don't keep better....
They's in glass fruit jars buried in the barn, in the dark o' nite..........
