Guys I'm looking for opinions/preferences on a free float quad rail 13-15", low profile gas block, and the best trigger (in your opinion) for this gun. Also maybe recommendations on a low profile/folding front and rear sight. Thanks in advance everybody.;)

Troy .308 Rail, Troy squid grip inserts, Troy low profile gas block.

The trigger on mine is fine as is, but if I were to replace it, I'd go with a Timney single stage unit - just my personal preference. I know lots of our fellow shooters have great things to say about the Gisselle two-stage trigger - it really comes down to what you what in a trigger.

I use the Magpul Pro steel BUIS on my firearms.

Handguard: I'm hoping that some new key mod type handguards hit the AR 308 market this year. Right now I'm sticking with the Magpul MOE. I bought an Apex 15" when I got the rifle, but decided it wasn't what I was looking for and gave it to my niece.

Gas Block: I use an SLR DA7c adjustable gas block in combination with minor gas port resize in order to use sub-sonic and super-sonic ammo with a Surefire SOCOM muzzle brake / suppressor setup.

Trigger: I use the Geissele SSA-E trigger ... my favorite and usually first mod on any AR I plan to keep.

In reference to the Troy handguard... what is the difference between AR, HP, and LP in the names?

It references which receiver top rail the handguard's top rail will align with. The AR308 type rifles are usually built compatible to either Armalite AR10 receiver dimensions or DPMS LR308 receiver dimensions (Note: there are some proprietary exceptions as well). The DPMS LR308 series has 2 different receiver top rail heights depending on the year of production (old style = HP or high profile and current style = LP or low profile). The M&P 10 is built to match the DPMS low profile receiver top rail height dimension.
