These all shocked me as ive not read or heard of any of these.

Ill start with this most recent one though.

Frank Avruch (aka) Bozo the Clown. One of many to bear that name-was the first one who to have a nationally syndicated show. Many local stations had their own-but this guy was the best one over all. He died at 89 of heart disease.

Some we grew up with that id not heard had gone home to be with the Lord who I greatly liked:

Bradford Dillman, January 16-he was 87:

Robert Dowdell of: Voyage To the Bottom of the Sea. January 23rd. He was 85:

Man on the right, the other (and thankfully he's still with us) is David (Al) Hedison.

Marty Allen-Comedian. Age 95-Feb 12th.

One of the few romance-like movies I care for. Set in the back drop of the Eastern Front in WWII-mostly romance but enough action to make this an all-time favorite.

Other movies of note: Psycho and Spartacus.

John Mahoney. Feb 4th-he was 77.

Siegfried Rauch, March 11th, he was 85. One of my all time favorite German actors-and those who have seen movies like: Patton, The Eagle Has Landed and The Big Red One- will easily recognize him as the German General HQ Stab Hauptmann/Major, Unkn rank, and older German Sergeant respectively.

The Big Red One-most of his scenes were cut in the original film release but were eventually restored when the movie was restored circa 2004 or so.
Here is where he shot Lee Marvin when his wet-noses ran from the Germans when they attacked them at the Kasserine Pass:
Here is where he just about to execute a DAK-soldier who said he wanted no more of the fight:

Dillman was a great pompous aristocrat character.

Rauch’s daughter looks like Stormy Daniels

Rauch was one tough cookie in the "Big Red 1". I didn't like that movie when I first saw it but it has grown on me over the years.

I love that movie from day one. Never saw it in theater but, once it hit HBO, Cinemax and The Movie Channel, I watched it every time I saw it on. Samuel Fuller did one hell of a job making that movie. Anyway, I remember a time when both HBO and TMC played it the same month, and it drove my brother bonkers when I watched it about 20 times that month-probably more. Each time I looked for other things to learn about and did. Conservatively speaking-ive likely seen that movie 125++ times-edging out Cross of Iron by a few. I bought it on DvD when they restored the cut scenes-adding about 20 minutes of Rauch's stuff (new score- which I didn't care for) but I enjoyed the movie more. Ive not watched it in years and need to dig it out soon as I get my dvds better organized.

Nobody is forgetting anybody. It just so happened I was looking at the news feed when I saw that Bozo the Clown had passed away-clicked on and read the story. At the end-it had the: People we lost this year-so I looked and was surprised at who had passed away. There was NO-list of police (muggins) nor military on the list I was looking at, so stop with YOUR negativity.

Make your own separate post on them and ill more than support it-WHY on Earth did you post this in here other than to be a thorn in the toe-and to be negative as usual? In case you didn't read this threads title for some unkn reason? its about ENTERTAINERS WHO WE LOST, not officers killed in the line of duty! I posted this (since you obviously didn't take time and care to read every word or they do not teach reading skills in S.E. Missouri??) BECAUSE I had not heard of those I posted about-passing away. That or-maybe just forgetting in a couple of cases.

If you mean Rauch?-I don't know? ive never seen the show. All I know is she is Siegfried's daughter. Both speak English without an accent.

The girl in the picture is Melissa Rauch born in New Jersey to Susan and David Rauch a Jewish family in Marlboro Township, New Jersey. Maybe Granddaughter or something I don't know.
