I know a lot of you have used ADCO, but has anyone used their upper receiver assembly/disassembly service for the MP 1522. I just got word that my form 1 was approved. I'm not so confident I'll do a good job if I do it myself. I am getting it cut to 10.5 inches. Thanks.

I simply took off my barrel, cut most of the excess off & shipped to Adco. Can't think of any reason why I would ship the upper. If you don't have the tools to remove the barrel, they aren't that expensive or you can make your own. IMO, everyone should be able to remove the barrel & take apart their rifle.

ADCO can and will do the job right.

I live about a mile from the store and have had a substantial amount of work done by the owner Steve. He knows his stuff and will not do you wrong.

Steve's a strange cat but knows firearms.

Thanks for the reply. That's somewhat reassuring.
