Added a 19-3 2 1/2 inch

Picked up this 19-3 today that I had bought from a member here.
It's very nice, unfired with box and docs, the only thing missing is the SAT.

I have some Combat Magnum revolvers, two of which are 19-3. Never had a nickel one with the short barrel, but that one looks pretty nice.

Here are pics of a couple of mine (the nickel 4" is not wearing its original stocks, which were targets - have Magna stocks on it because it is used to teach youngsters to shoot). The blue snubby has ivories that I added, with the original Magna stocks stashed away:

I've got a 4 inch nickel of the same vintage, the 2 1/2 is a 1973 and the 4 inch is a 1975, guess I'll have to start looking for 6 inch to with them.

Hello Andy, have a few 2.5" mod-19s. Very handy revolver in a pinch.
Not any Queens. Just holster and carry guns.

They do have a nice feel in the hand even though with a heavy magnum load they could be a handful.
This one hasn't been fired outside the factory and most likely I'll keep it that way, I have plenty of other guns to shoot.

I like them in all colors, depending on my mood....but I really like nickel. This 19-5 with French Walnut Culina Combats is a particular favorite. Enjoying seeing everyone else's guns.

Well done Sir. An iconic handgun for sure. I have a pair of 19-2s with 2 1/2" barrels in my collection along with a 66-1 to make the trifecta. Here are my 19s....

Close. But it has had a couple boxes through it since I bought it several years ago.

This is the 19-3 I found last year. I had never seen a 2.5 inch with a target hammer, trigger and red ramp. Needless to say I didn't point it out to the gun store until after I paid. I still don't know how uncommon this is. I should get it lettered to see if it's original.
