After 2 months, finally grabbed some Wally World ammo

Every week we get groceries at WM.

Every week I go to the sporting goods area to stare at a ammo cabinent empty except for some .25 auto, 7mm, and .410 shells.

Imagine my surprise when I walked up on two Winchester boxes of .40 FMJ (50 qty) and .357 JHP (100 qty).

Another guy walked up next to me staring at the same thing.

"You need the 40's or the .357?" I said.

He was eyeing one box of .40's so I bought the other box and the .357's.

It was kinda like rounding the corner to see the Christmas tree lined with presents.

I had the same experience last Saturday at Walmart. I went in for windshield washer fluid and swung by the ammo cabinet and I could hardly believe my eyes...22LR, 9mm, .40 & .45. I got my 3 bricks of .22 and was on my way.

Sad it has come to the point where we celebrate finding/buying ammo.

Hmmm, I see a pattern here. Saturdays may be my new grocery day.

My daughter stopped by and they have a few boxes.

Alas, she is but 19 and cannot buy.
