Add me to the bleeding list. While working outside I often look down at my arm and a trail of blood has developed. Won't even know it started. I guess the mind is going also.

I had a little AFIB a couple of years ago and they put me on Xarelto. I was also taking a baby aspirin. One morning at 3:30 I woke up choking on blood. A blood vessel in my nose had opened up, with no help from me, and it poured blood for two hours until we went to the ER. They cauterized it and it opened up again. What finally stopped it was a long balloon that they pressurized inside the nose and which I wore for a week. Next step would have been surgery. No more aspirin. Cuts and scrapes do bleed, but not for long.
I'm right with you guys. Wife will say "your arm is bleeding" or I will just look down and see blood coming from what looks like it's not even cut but is hard to stop bleeding.
I've started having to carry bandaids in a cargo pocket.

I'm tempted to try PVC cement, you get that stuff on you and it don't come off. Might work in a pinch. I take 10 pills in the AM and another 4 at night. I'm sure the aspirin contributes to the bleeding and some of the others are likely helping too. At least my back surgery healed up on schedule according to the Dr.
I think as we get older, we bleed more often to remind us that we are still alive. Dead people don't bleed. It's a nice reminder that we are still here.
This happens to me ALL the time - especially when doing yard work. I'm still harder than heck to bruise, but my skin is definitely not as tough as it use'ta be.
Though I have been taking a baby aspirin a day for 25 or 30 years - just as preventative (no heart issues so far, thank the Lord).

I just bump into something and I'll have blood running down my arm. The funny thing is I never feel it and it doesn't hurt.

when I moved to Colorado the biggest bleeding problem was with nose bleeds because of the really dry air in the winter time. it was just about an every other day occurrence. the right nostril was always the problem and was cauterized a lot. when I moved back to Nebraska the proble pretty much went away.
in Colorado I used Neosporin to help with the nose bleeds but didn't help much. in Nebraska it really helps in the wintertime

I fit that description. Retired long time welder and my hands and arms took plenty of high intensity light over the years. Like many welders out there just doing a simple tack or welding down like at a bench I did not use gloves or gauntlets and had on just my normal tee shirt.
Of course being in my boat all summer also gave me a lot of light exposure!I bleed & bruise easy and certain meds, not just anticoagulants will do it, My arms look like road maps, I have two spots so big I gave them names. I have one patch that looks like Texas and another that looks like Michigan, hence their names!
One OTC item that seems to help my skin is. ''Gold Bond Ultimate''. I have tried many over the years and for me this is the best
Ex-welder and have sleeves but right now just wear work gloves and long sleeve shirt if the weather permits, while I did my yard work and trimming.
If just gloves, I try to extra careful but those darn Rose bushes have a way of grabbing me, now and then, plus some of the shrubs have little "Got ya" on them every now and then, from where I do not know...........
just that I will notice a needle/splinter or drop of blood on me that came from no where.
It's Magic.
Just glad that they are mini cuts that heal in 30 minutes or so.
I am just glad that my arms and legs don't have the purple bruises all over them yet, that I see on some older people.

I quit taking my daily dose of the 81 mg of baby aspirin for that very reason. Bruising and bleeding easily was a PITA. After reading that if you don't have a heart problem taking it to prevent it was not necessary I gave them up. Bruising and bleeding improved 100%.

I get little black n blues and don’t remember how I did it.
My first flight falling out of bed not hitting rem in my sleep they used crazy glue to patch me up. The night stand tore me up. We then got a new higher mattress falling again I needed a parachute. Lol. I got a c pap.

I seem to be the opposite, I bleed less than I use to. I'm not on any blod thinner, but do take a baby aspirin daily. When I have blood drawn 2X a year, the people taking it almost always mention something like, "Oh your blood is so nice and thin, not like a lot of men your age!". The only place that really seems to bleed on me is my face. I rarely shave, but once in a while, I slice myself and it's crazy amounts of blood.
When my mom was up there in age, my dog used to rip her arm skin when he would see his arch enemy "Logan" or see someone riding a horse, and she would bleed like crazy. We carried a whole bunch of first aid supplies with us for when she would get hurt. When she died, she had all kinds of scars on her left arm mostly, and the doctors and nurses would always ask what they were from. "Oh, our dog Gus would rip up my arm, when he went ballistic about something!". They always, every time asked, "He bit you?". "No, he did that with his claws, if he bit me, I probably wouldn't have an arm."

I don't take blood thinners, but eat aspirin for my back pain. I can look at something wrong and I'll bleed. I have a major shortage of hair on my head, so have no protection, and in the garage, and my shop, I frequently bang my head on something, and constantly have a wound on my head. Every low hanging corner, shelf, heater, etc. has a name; none of which are printable here.

Dr. put me on Xalrelto to replace Warfarin. Within 2 days I had blood in my urine. Called the Dr. and he said to immediately stop taking it, and I went back on Warfarin. I also take Plavix and have AFib. Had a heart attack in 1997.
Used to take a baby aspirin too, but that was stopped. I can only use Tylenol for pain, no Aspirin or NSAID's.

Just thought I'd update this.
I had to do some work on my truck. It was one of those things that didn't really amount to much, but was a real PITA to get to. Had to remove a bunch of other stuff just to get to it and every bolt was down in a tight hole.
My hands and arms look like I've been wrestling with a bear. And yes, I did make a very generous blood sacrifice to the wrench Gods.
Gettin' old sucks!
