I have a 57 no dash, 4 inch, nickel, serial number N6710xx. I don't know when it was made. Please help.

The N600000 serial numbers were manufactured between 1979 to 1980 ........

I beginning to believe the N-frame is the perfect size for a .41 magnum - a .44 caliber holes seem a bit large in the cylinder, and the .357 is too small. The .41 seems just right.
Not to hijack the thread, but I saw a very good Model 58, factory nickel, at a gun show a few hours ago for $750. Locked up tightly. Too bad I was broke....
