Airweight 642 Identification

Can anyone help identify this edition of the 642? Is it a Talo edition? The sku is 150957. I can't find a pic on the internet of these specific grips.

I believe th sku is a store based tracking number. The serial number of the revolver will probably be more helpful. It is stamped on the frame when you open the cylinder and on the butt of the gun. If you contact smith and wesson they should be able to help.

The grips may be after-market. You did not say if you purchased new, and I could not tell from the photo if the S&W logo is on the grip.

I purchased the gun new at a local gun store. I will check the serial number and call S & W. The S & W logo should be on the grip but I will check when I get home.

Yes. It has the S & W logo on both sides of the grip near the bottom.

There are a few of the Talo distribution guns on GB now that have a sku number of 150551. This is the current run being done by S&W for Talo. These have wooden grps but the S&W logo is at the top of the grip.

I don't know if there was another offering.
