Tried to research this holster but the company is out of business.

Anyone know when it went out of business.

Holster looks carved (not stamped) to me. Anyone agree/disagree?

Looks like it's lined with deer skin.

Any estimate on value?

I have been told this is an Alamo.
It's not stamped like yours.
I got it long ago from a dealer who regular buying trips down to Texas.

I think they went out in the late 60s carved and well made. I was told the lining is goatskin...………………………………...M*

I believe Alamo Leather hung on until the middle 70s. I saw them for sale in local gun stores until that time.

I've got one Alamo holster that the holsters gurus here on the site identified. They are lined with goatskin as stated.

I find it interesting that all the pictured holsters are closed bottom,
the ad even stated closed with a small vent hole.
My Alamo, for a 1911 is fully open at the muzzle end, it looks like an
El Paso Threepersons style for 1911s. It is Alamo maker marked
and I bought it in San Antonio in 1966.
