Does anyone have a picture of an Alessi Talon or Talon Plus for a J Frame? I'm thinking of getting one. I've also looked at High Noon Bare Asset.

I have a Talon for my Glock 19 and I love it. Normally I carry my 642 in a desantis nemesis in a pocket. I'd like something I could clip on from time to time.

Also, does anyone think it is harder to carry a canted clip holster in a pocket than a straight drop? I ask in case I wanted to slip it into a pocket.

If the talon works for you with a Glock, it should work even better with a lighter gun...I tried the talon with my P7 but found the gun was too heavy to not use the belt for support..I have the high noon for my SP101...it works very well....again, I like the fact that the clip goes over my belt as opposed to clipping on the seam of my pants since it holds the weight better....but with a 642, I don't think that will be an issue...

My del fatti isp-dd is similar to the Alessi but the clip works over the pants or over the belt...the clip is also offset so not having it over the cylinder makes for a lower profile in the pants...

Thanks Sipowicz. Do you know if the clip for the Talon on the J Frames goes over the cylinder or is it offset to the side? Seems like the offset clip on the Del Fatti would be great for concealment but it would make it move around more.. I may be wrong.

I'm pretty sure the clip on the talon is over the cylinder, similar to their autos...my del fatti doesn't move around as I always use a belt...when you clip any holster straight to the pants, it will move a bit more..there are a few other makers who have the offset clip design (del fatti is 2 years out)....maybe Ray from Lobo can chime in here...:)
