All the weather forecasters here are broken

Way back there was a very popular weatherman on the Tucson NBC station, Michael Goodrich. One year (late 70s, early 80s) he pulled a prank on April 1 that I just happened to catch; during his tease prior to the commercial break before the weather cast he told the anchor basically the boss said no April Fool jokes so looked at the camera and said if you wanted to know what the weather was to go look out the window lol. He then got up from the desk and started to walk out of the studio-the anchor guy just started laughing as Michael came running back into the studio as they went to commercial.

He was also very active in local pistol competitions and was the first guy I met that had a Browning BDA in .45, cool pistol even with the funky European mag release on the heel of the grip frame.

The last 2/3rds of the year for us "Northerner's" has been strange, as well.
Todat's high will be aroubd 87* and the low was 58*.

On Monday at 8:14 AM, the heated kicked on !!

Very strange.

Have a guaranteed weather detector. The pitter patter of rain bouncing off a bald top head. Without much for consistent affects on weather patterns up here, tough to accurately predict.

The weather here has been strangely cool, more like late September, for the past week or so. Usually it is well into the 90s, but it has been in the low 50s and night and mid-70s during the day. Last night it was cool enough that my wife got up and closed a window.

You actually open windows, Doug? I'm not even sure our windows here have balances! Maybe the mfgrs send them to other cities, along with dish towels...
