Anybody have any experience with Alliant Power Pro 300 MP magnum pistol powder?

I came into a pound of the stuff, but even when checking with Alliant, there's no available data for loading the .41 Magnum. That seems a bit odd, but that's what I learned.

I tried it with 357 magnums and didn't get any improvement over W296, my preferred juice for that cartridge, so I never used it again.

That said, I'd call them and ask. I read some time back they were going to publish 41 data eventually.

I also tried it in 357 Mag. What a waste of time.
Gave me an appreciation of the fact that not much has changed in gunpowder over the years.

The tried and true powders are just that for a reason.

Well, I actually traded email with Alliant's powder guy. Still no data available. Looks like I stick with H-110 and 2400, which I regard as two of the most reliable propellants out there.
