filled out the paper work and put on hold until 4/27. wasn't surprised, but hoped i could have walked out with it today.
got it from davidson's, ordered it 4/12 and came in on 4/20. got the MOE 811034. i did break it open and it has the blue spring's, which i was worried about, and the serial # DUAXXXX. got home and had 3 new mag's waiting from 44mag.com. three day's, that's pretty fast service. they were listed as the new one's. got my simmon's scope and ring's from midwayusa yesterday, which i ordered on sunday. even faster service. now i will just set back and wait. hope everyone is out at the range having some fun!

I've got the Redfield 3-9x40 coming along with a Burris P.E.P.R. that should show Friday from Midway. Mags showed up Monday from 44mag. Hogue grip and Tapco rail guards should show today along with a few spare mags for the kids 10/22.
Rainy weekend (darn) so I guess we'll be at the range since we can't do yard work.

monstercastle,
if you wouldn't mind let me know how the scope and burris turn out. i didn't know which way to go in price, so i kept it simple with a simmons rimfire, and some cheap 1" ring's. if i went the other way i wanted to swap between my AR15 and the M&P. didn't know what the appropriate height of the ring's i should get. i think the burris is also 1", and that was my first choice, as was the price range of the scope.
i have some warne QD on my mk111's and love them. alway's take the scope's off when i'm finished at the range, and the next time out it only take's a few rounds to get back in the bullseye @50yd.

Yeah, will do. I should get the scope and mount on Friday and will hit the range on Saturday so I'll report back on initial thoughts.

good one whoppo.
who know's what reason why a person is put on hold. i've gotten it when the dealer called in, 15 min. after they called, and usually within 2 day's. up to the f.b.i. backround search when to release it.
any way they called me 3 hrs. later to pick it up, but i waited till i got off of work today.
opened the box, starred at it for a minute or two, then picked it up. tiny little thing, but i think it's going to help out a lot when i switch over to my AR15. cheap ammo, and lot's of it these day's is the only way to go. i used my mk111's all last summer to practice with out side, then when winter appeared i went inside with the 9's and 40's. a lot of practice with the .22's really made a difference all the way around.
i put it in the safe, and about 5 min. later said what the heck i might as well get it set up. i mounted the scope, loaded the magazine's, and am going to clean it tonight and head to the range inside or outside depending on the weather tomorrow.
i know i am going to have a lot of fun with this, and plan on getting one of the H&K 416D145RS when they come out in june. i think i have did all the research i can, so now it's range time!

I don't know whats worse, having all the toys and waiting for the gun to come in and put them on it, then take it out to shoot.

Or getting the gun, getting all the toys, and still having to sit around and wait to shoot it for a few weeks while it sits there and stares at you. :(

That is a nice mount, IMO. I sure like mine.
