AM I PRIMING THE CARTRIDGE CORRECTLY USING LYMAN AUTO FEED PRIMING TOOL?

Missed topics for consideration

It is a hot day in Georgia, I was working outside.

I have learned the hard way about "type & spank" by the mods when enjoying adult beverages while posting on the Forum. My attempts at silence shall continue on this thread.

Apparently, other members are wondering about trivia, minutia, and perfection when loading that first cartridge. Have "Tumbling brass" , "Cleaning primer pockets" , "Case lubing" , and "Inside neck lubing" been covered in sufficient detail? Do we need to address post-loading tumbling of loaded ammunition to evaluate the risk of firing a primer during the tumbling / vibrating cycle? :D

Will the trigger ever get pulled????

I have never reloaded before and the instructions that come with the tools are often vague and horrible.

Wonderful, now you can try writing "Reloading Instructions" as a hobby. There is much less stress writing than in reloading the one perfect Cartidge.

The press absolutely matters when he is talking about some unknown Primer system.

If it is indeed a Lee Hand press then all the replies to a Lyman auto Primer system do not compute.

Pick up another manual. The Lyman is not that great for a How to Load Hand Gun Ammo.

The ABCs of reloading or some other such manual.

Get a video.

mitigated ... he has primed 20 cases although they have slight tool marks from the process.
He did not detonate a primer in the process, he's good to go.

Some of us learned this hobby with one of these....

If you count 38 special wax bullet loads as my first reloads.
I learned with even less :D
