What's the harm? Trees are planted; people feel like they've made a positive statement.

Unless you think the irony is in the Board of Parole/Probation honoring the crime victims and that particular Board is very lax and lenient with granting parole.

Given the current pace of prosecution in this country. The tree will be big enough for the hanging when the law finally gets around to it.

It's just a small notion to give to the living that lets them know their family members have been thought of. I don't see anything wrong with that.

Someone point out the irony to me, I honestly don't understand what the big deal is and why this was thread worthy.
