Amazed by folks who think $$$ make them better shots

Sometines a better gun does make a difference. I was shooting on an Army pistol team, so I was well practiced. I had a Hi Standard Supermatic, S-101, first picture. I traded it for a S&W 41, at about a 25% increase in price, and my scores went up about 10 p;oints over the NMC, 300 points. It was worth it. I still have the 41, second picture.

I have seen that guy's videos before.
They always leave me thinking: "Some day, I want a back yard like that!"

I am so jealous of guys who can go out on their own property and shoot on their own range. I have to drive 30 minutes to my club.

It's just a matter of do you want to spend the money now or spend it later.

I say if you earned it, spend it how you want to. That said, some of us just have more ability, talent, & skill than others. Some of it can be learned & earned, but not all of it. I can buy a new Corvette, & I'll get from point A to point B faster than I do today - but Mario would beat me there in a 6 cylinder Impala.

At least it sounds like he knows a lousy group when he sees one regardless if he understands what the problem is. On the other hand, many of the target pics I have seen on this Forum... well... uh...
