Amazon - One for You, One for Me

I've been buying from Amazon as Prime member for many years

So far my experience with Amazon delivery people has been very positive.

On rare occasions the delivery is done by a personal vehicle and they make a delivery at night or very early in the morning.

I may not like Jeff Bezos's political views or wasteful lifestyle, but buying from Amazon as a consumer has been an excellent experience. I can return items to our local Kohl's store that's 10 minutes away. Amazon's Customer Service has been top notch.

Although the delivery driver training seems to be a little light, I believe it's a very rare occurrence where they hire a driver and that person turns out to be stupid enough to get caught stealing. Lots of people now have video surveillance and the vehicles are tracked and monitored.

Amazon's business model is the best I've ever seen.

Certainly different than my experience with Amazon delivery people

Again, certainly not my experience

All you have to do is look at any of their delivery vans, etc.

Apparently Amazon employs FAR better employees where you're at, then where I'm at

We'll have to agree, to disagree about that

Same here...on all accounts. Locally, they rate right down there with FedEx. Around here, people are always sending out pictures of other people's porches and asking if anyone knows who has their package. UPS is rock solid here; they don't use contract employees.

As with many things, delivery service varies with where you live. One FFL I knew was planning to train his dogs to attack anyone in a brown uniform because, "They must be trespassers, because UPS sure doesn't seem to know my address." He was always having to go to the hub to get his stuff because the drivers alleged there was no such address.

Fedex seem to be better. The Amazon guy that does our neighborhood is first class.

Just another delivery people from UPS FedEX and USPS are all the scum of the earth:rolleyes:
Never had an issue with any of them
How can Amazon be so tech savvy not know who delivered to xyz address??

Bingo!!! I was wondering if anyone would ask that question. I wondered the same thing when this hit the news...why does the State Police need assistance to identify this mut, when they should be able to ask Amazon. All I come up with for an answer is that Amazon refuses to divulge the name absent a court order...which is disturbing.
