Amazon shipping

Due to packages ending up missing with other shippers I’m very happy with amazon/prime. No problem with amazon. Sometimes they have a better price too. Their effort tells me they wantvour business.

I’ve dropped my prime about a year ago after being a member for over 10 years, just got sick of ever increasing membership. Don’t miss it one beat. I still shop at Amazon, it’s just I have to wait till I want enough stuff to qualify for free shipping. Yeah, I got my package in 3-4 days instead of 1-2 absolutely not critical to me. I’ve got into casting this year and been ordering a lot of stuff from multiple vendors, never had a problem with any of my packages.

amazon prime members here; my wife is starting a home business and decided she needed a laptop for her stuff. ordered it online one evening, the next day we had a package on our doorstep containing a keyboard and a mouse.
phoned them, they made sure not to bill us. re-ordered that evening. the next day a box with another keyboard and mouse. another not so nice phone call to make sure we weren't billed.

re-ordered again, and the next day she had her laptop.
anyone need a keyboard and mouse or two?

For a company that is against guns, I have no problem getting speed loaders and gun vises delivered the next day.

Amazon was in the right place at the right time, wonder how things will go for them as things return to normal as virus restrictions are lifted. I have seen increases in shipping prices lately I think.

Everything I've ordered has been delivered over night or at the most 2 days. If they were in charge ammo would be in every store and gasoline at every station. Larry

This is usually true but I understand that they don’t like guns and such.

This is the new $1.5 billion Amazon Hub right across the river at CVG.

Amazon leases their planes but they just bought 11 used Boeing 767-300's to expand their delivery capabilities.

Our Prime stuff has been showing up on time.

Never had an issue with Amazon Prime. Always delivered the goods on time.

Nothing is close to Montana when it comes to shipping routes. My transducer on my fish finder died last week. I couldn't find one locally so ordered one from Amazon Tuesday afternoon. It got here Friday morning.

I needed a new #54 drill to replace the front sight on my S&W 617 and couldn't find one on line at a decent price other than on Amazon. I ordered it Friday and it will be here Sunday. Love that 2 day delivery even on weekends.

The price of the bits was also lower than any place else I tried.

That's 3 days. Prime is "2 day shipping" with some stuff 3 days, so, overall not bad. USPS Priority Mail packages taking 3.5 weeks is completely different.

But you are essentially on the "outskirts" of Phoenix, and I'm sure they are a hub location for the state. Las Vegas is the Nevada hub.

Yep. Not too far for them to guarantee 2 days. I'm surprised they make Sunday deliveries but happy that they do. I'd like to finish the gun for my normal Wednesday practice session and will them probably shoot it in this week's Steel Challenge Match.

My scores run the same with RFPI and my Black Mamba as with the 617 but I enjoy the 617 more.

Usually have no problems with Amazon.

I did receive a used coil pack, sold as "new". It was
physically in good shape, but close examination showed
engine-compartment grunge down in nooks and crannies.
Somebody pulled a fast one on Amazon, and returned
a cleaned up, presumably bad coil pack.

Amazon sent me a new one, and an authorization code
to return the used one via UPStore. I took the return
item to the UPStore, and kept the receipt.

About four months later, Amazon emailed me, saying
"return it or we're gonna charge ya for it".:mad:
I searched around and found the UPStore receipt, and
took it down to the store, to see if they had anything
to back it up.

Turns out when UPStore has Amazon returns, they just
chuck em all in a big box. When it's full, that box goes
off to Amazon. No manifest of contents, no tracking,
nothing. Seems like a pretty big accountability hole
for Amazon, but that's how they do it.

I got into a chat with an Amazon rep, and she assured
me I would not be charged for the item. Been a few
months and it hasn't showed on CC...fingers crossed.

I have had terrible luck with Amazon shipping. The past year nothing has arrived in 2 days. I finally got so sick of it that I cancelled the last order after 5 days and buy elsewhere now.

There are a lot of other options and Walmart has been good as a replacement.

For me

I prefer brick and mortar but I have bought off the web some, but if I find something I like has anything to do with amazon I’m gone, period.

Quite often,I can order the exact same part (including brand) off Amazon and it will show up faster than my local parts supply house can get it to me. As much as I don't like Bezos..the system works.

What ever issues Amazon has, shipping is not one of them. As a Prime member, most items (except from items from outside sellers, such as used books) I order arrive forthwith. I even like their Prime video selections more than other companies. While I usually prefer to buy gun related items from local stores or dedicated sellers like Brownells or Midway, there have been times when ordering gun cleaning supplies is inexpensive and quick on Amazon. It will never happen, but they could be really good at ammo sales!

As a bookworm, one thing I like about Amazon is how they often allow me to purchase old, out of print books from small bookstores in other places that I would otherwise not hear about. It is pretty neat that I can look for an book, such as an old Elmer Keith work, and order it from a book store far away using Amazon's network.

I was also able to find a jar of Sanka on there, which for some reason is hard to find in stores around here!
