Sounds like a really "sad" tragedy. R.I.P. Chris and God Bless.

Prayers for all....including the soldier who did the shooting. Most of us cannot imagine what a lot of those guys have gone through....their wounds don't show but they are real all the same.

News breaking ... Chris Kyle murdered???

I just got a message from Thunder Ranch, and did a quick fact check online. Evidently USN Seal Chris Kyle was shot and killed with another person on a range. Apologies if this info is sketchy or proves to be wrong. The story is just hitting the news. Sorry for the duplicate posting.

Our prayers go out to his family and team members. It is so sad to go through and accomplish what he did and have it end that way.

That is a sad deal. He gave a lot for his country...and kept giving after he got back by helping others.

Man, all that time in the weeds...four tours worth and to come home, work with Vets with PTSD, one snaps and kills him. RIP Chris, America is poorer country for the loss of a hero like you.

Did anybody know about him dropping Jesse Ventura with one punch?

So allegedly a guy with PTSD was in a place with guns. Am I the only one thinking "Really??" spelled "WTH, over"?

I spent decades working with vets with PTSD and did over 10,000 PTSD evaluations for honorable men and women who served from WWI through 2002.

PTSD is not predictive of violence and should not be used to restrict people from firearms ownership. Many of the people I shoot with recreationally and in competition have PTSD. If the truth were told I am safer with them than I am with a lot of others you run into on the range. They are constantly on alert. They watch their and my back. It's a comfort.
