Ammo at WalMart in Dallas Forth Worth

Since I am traveling I always stop and check the Walmarts.
Right here by the airport, the Walmart on 4100 W. airport fwy road in Irving TX has
.357, .44's, and 9's.

Maybe the ammo crisis is starting to lighten up?

Mmmm..... nope.

I have trips now and then where I find a good supply, but that's just good luck. I had one trip recently where I saw EVERY handgun caliber on the shelf. But... my last bunch of trips were back to slim selection.

Walmart

Made a random call to a less used store and bought 3 100 rd. value pack boxes of Win. 130gr .38sp target ammo yesterday. Go figure!

Seems to be dependant upon the the stores ordering habits and the distributors. Wally world is overstocked in 300 and 308 and shotgun shells, last month it was 30-30's. Scheels has 22lr bulk packs while Walmart doesn't. The local gunshop is full of everything but 357 mag and 22lr bulk packs. Primers are a different story still, plenty of 209's but absolutely nothing for pistol or rifle anywhere around here.

i thought this was just a California thing they never have any thing here either i only see some 22 stuff and have no need for it

I have actually found a few hundred rounds of 45 acp the last coupl weeks at wally. First I have seen in a while. But I shot them all up the last couple of days

Stopped at another Wally World close to DFW, 9 called north Richland Hills, and they had tons of ammo.
None on friday, but a whole bunch on saturday. Got 6 boxes of 9mm for 8.97 each.
