Ammo Shipping

My UPS guy just made an ammo delivery and while doing so pointed
down to the blue, ORM-D, sticker and said "That's going away
and will be replaced by a, Hazardous Material, sticker.

When I said, I bet that'll cost more, he said "oh yeah."

He said that it's a Government deal so it will aplly to all shippers.

Anybody else heard the same?

I hadnt I got ammo coming in tomorrow or the next day if I catch my UPS guy I will ask him. Also I got family member that works UPS I see about asking him also.

It's a change in labeling only. Cost will remain the same.

I just talked to my UPS guy and he said it sounded like BS to him and he certainly hadn't heard anything about it.

The use of this new sticker is not required until the beginning of 2014. I ordered some 5.56 Black Hills Ammo which I received about two weeks ago and it had the new sticker. The old ORD sticker was not present. There is nothing written on the sticker; its a symbol only.
