An Outdoorsman Becomes a Triple Lock....

A shooter as well as a looker. Well, that's what we have come expect from Dave.

I've got 3 of Dave's guns and they shoot where you point them. Trouble is with guns like that, there ain't no alibis.

Mr. Dave, looks like that hogleg wants to shoot. Why don't you just pack it up and send it on up to me and I'll do some load development for you so there all in one hole. Now it may take a bit to get it just perfect, so try to be patient!

Theys could of been all in the same hole....But, I was grinning

so big, I closed my eyes and pulled the last two kinda high. ;) :D

Wyo,
You better git to scoutin' things out.. Rumor has it that the old dogs have been out since Feb. You're slipping.

Some things never change... except to get BETTER! Way to go, Dave! To have two sets of parts from guns built a couple of decades apart go together so seamlessly AND shoot that well too, well it's just almost too good to be true. Keep those inspirational posts a'coming!

Su amigo,
the Frog

Jim,

Sure enough! Do they have 3rd lock cam plates attached?

I have a TL NOS 455 Barrel I've been holding for a project.

While you are at it, did ya cobble up some cowhide for this rig? I just know that there has to be something really special for it to ride in ;)

Scott,
My cobbling's a lit'l on the weak side right now.

This ol shuck 'll have to do for a spell.........wearin' it today.

Dave ,

Only thing I can say about that that ain't already been said is ..... I wish you lived next door to me . Your projects remind me of my pap , he could build anything too . That is an awesome gun and a save not everyone could pull off with such success . You are getting right on up there with Elmer in my mind , keep em' coming !

Eddie

PS: That screams for one of those Keith/Brill shuck's you do so well . Looking forward to seeing what you pair it up with for keeps .

Wyoming adopted another of Dave's doin's.

Every time Dave comes to Wyoming, it costs one of us some green backs.
If he decides to move out here, we'll go broke.:D:)

Dave snuck that one past me Monday. He already had WYO hooked anyway. Just as well, I couldn't afford to look at another of Dave's guns.
